Request to Stay Past Closing Form
Students are asked to make arrangements for moving out 24 hours after their last final exam each semester.
The Department of Community Living recognizes that some students are unable to leave at this time for various reasons. Students wishing to stay past the closing date of the residence halls must obtain permission of their current Area Coordinator (AC).
Completing this form does not guarantee the ability to stay past the residence halls closing dates. The Department of Community Living has the right to deny stays.
Students staying late will be charged
$40.00 a night
unless they are working for an approved campus event such as Commencement or Senior Week. Late stay approval will only be made for those with extreme circumstances. Stay Past Closing requests must be received by
December 8th (Fall semester) or April 30th (Spring semester)
to be considered for review.
